Christmas Drinks and Networking
Please join us on the evening of 1st December to round off a great year of networking and membership growth at Argosy Events. We will unveil and look forward to our vigorous calendar of events for 2017. This is a less formal and more sociable event than most and also introduces our new venue right in the heart of Westminster. This is the Regimental Headquarters of the illustrious London Scottish Regiment at 95 Horseferry Road, just off Victoria Street. This historic building is not usually open to the public, so we’re delighted to be able to give our guests such exclusive access to it, complete with an exclusive tour of the museum.

Opening Doors for Business Opportunities
The Argosy Events team is honoured to invite our members and guests to network and hear two excellent speakers at the Cavalry and Guards Club on Piccadilly, London. Our first speaker is the Honourable Sir Julian Brazier MP, who has a wealth of experience in different roles in Government and Parliament stretching back to 1987. Our second speaker is Mr Nicholas Rutherford, founder and CEO of Aidex: the world’s largest forum for companies active in the spheres of aid and international development.
Come and chat to like-minded business professional in the exclusive atmosphere of The Chetwood Room at The Cavalry & Guards Club. There will be ample time for networking, so please bring along your business cards. This event might offer an excellent opportunity to invite your colleagues and even selected clients to this exclusive venue.

Commonwealth Opportunities Gala Event
The Argosy Events team is delighted to invite you to our flagship event of 2016: Commonwealth Opportunities after Brexit.
Set in the elegant surroundings of the Waterloo Room at London’s Institute of Directors, this gala evening will give you the opportunity to meet Commonwealth Ambassadors, High Commissioners and growth-minded businesses. Guest speakers will include Shaarad Sharma of the Royal Academy of Engineering. We’re also delighted to feature a performance by the acclaimed Mighty Zulu Nation Theatre Company.
At a time when businesses are endeavouring to expand commercial links within and beyond the European Union, this event offers great potential for professional networking with the right people. This is a truly special event in London’s social and business calendar, and really something to tell your colleagues, friends and family that you’ve been to.

Trade, Aid & International Development – How do I get involved?
We are very pleased to be running our second event during May as part of our members’ TRAID interest group. Our keynote speaker Eleanor Baha MBE is the long-serving Trade Attache at the British Embassy in Geneva, Switzerland. She will focus on the official channels businesses can use to help them get contracts around the world.

Extra Members’ Event: Social Event
We’re pleased to offer the opportunity for a relaxed evening purely for members, although we won’t turn you away if you would like to join us. This event is designed to enable us to catch up with members’ projects and news in an informal environment. The venue is the Charing Cross Hotel, to the left of the main station entrance on The Strand, London, WC2N 5HX.
