Commonwealth Argosy Events was set up in 2015 as part of the wider Commonwealth Argosy Group (read more here) by a small team of seasoned networkers. We all have long and varied international careers in different sectors, including oil & gas, management consultancy, strategic communications, engineering, government and finance. We felt there was a need for a membership club that combined the commercial opportunities of international business lead development with a more social element. Trust is important in building relations anywhere, especially internationally. With contacts around the world, becoming a member of Argosy Events might well be your step on the path to international business development.

We set up Argosy Events with two interlinked elements. First is the club for members that seeks out business leads and seeks to bring members together in various interest groups, which might be geographical or sector interests. Second are the monthly events at central venues with interesting speakers on the first Thursday of the month (mostly). These provide regular opportunities to meet new members, for members to introduce guests, and for members to have their businesses and their needs highlighted and featured. Our membership forms a growing expert network for commercial projects with an international and Commonwealth dimension.
New members go through an on-boarding procedure that helps us understand your needs. We listen, so we can act on your behalf when we can.
We encourage like-minded individuals and businesses to form stronger bonds. Our monthly events provide the social springboards to feature new members and break the ice.
We are constantly trying to develop ways to support our members and our interest groups are our vehicle for doing that, either geographical or sector interests.
